Self-Etching Primer is an alkyd/acrylic, fast-drying, film-forming primer that etches into a surface and creates a very tight mechanical bond. Thinner than most conventional primers, this etching solution provides an excellent foundation for both water-borne and solvent-borne finish products. After thoroughly cleaning your surface, primer is easily applied. Primer dries quickly to the touch in less than an hour. Leaves behind a low matte/flat sheen and cures in 48-96 hours.
