This was a heroic 214.5km ride from Luchon to Mourenx and provides the inspiration for a racing bike specially designed for long distances. The Mournex69 features a lightweight (1050 gram) and stiff carbon monocoque frame, with a carbon fork (380 grams) and endurance geometry. The result is a uniquely balanced frame, offering both endurance and high-performance serious riders crave. The Mourenx69 sports an utterly impressive stiffness-to-weight ratio with Powerbox asymmetric chainstays and just the right compliance to enhance the bike's endurance capabilities. There's also clearance for up to 30mm tires. A Shimano Ultegra Di2 11-speed drivetrain and compact crankset deliver excellent ergonomic comfort, the crispness and speed of Di2 electronic shifting, and of course the renowned Shimano precision and reliability. A Fulcrum Racing 5 LG wheelset rolls smooth and accelerates fast. The build is completed with Italian designed Deda RHM02 handlebar, a Deda Zero2 stem, and MX69 seatpost.
